Abstract: PURPOSE: A mold polishing monitoring method is provided to indirectly confirm an approximate surface roughness at present. CONSTITUTION: A user inputs variables in an optimal processing condition of a processed object in a mold polishing controller(S110). An optimal processing condition is obtained according to an optimization algorithm and the obtained polishing processing condition is guided to the user(S120). A surface roughness estimated when the processed object is processed is guided to the user(S130). A polishing process condition which the user has presented is approved(S140). When the polishing process condition which the user has presented is approved, a mold polishing process starts by the presented processing condition(S150). A current process state is displayed(S160). When the polishing process condition which the user has presented is not approved, the user directly selects a polishing processing condition(S170). An estimate value of the surface roughness according to a process state is guided to the user according to the polishing process condition selected by the user(S180).
