Abstract: A pharmaceutical composition of preventing and treating cadmium poisoning related diseases is provided to increase cell viability about cadmium toxicity and expression of MT gene, to suppress active oxygen using long-lived platycodon grandiflorum tablet fraction material as active ingredient. The tablet fraction material is a crude saponin tablet fraction material obtained by producing platycodon extract through ion-exchange resin. The cadmium poisoning related disease is lithonephria, itai-itai disease, cancer or neurodegenerative disease. A health food of preventing and treating cadmium poisoning related diseases comprises long-lived platycodon grandiflorum tablet fraction material as active ingredient. The health food is refinement, capsule, and pilule or liquor.

Abstract: 본 발명은 세포독성 개선 및 간손상 억제활성을 갖는 독활 추출물을 함유하는 간질환의 예방 및 치료용 조성물에 관한 것으로, 독활 추출물을 함유하는 본 발명의 조성물은 tBHP(tert butyl hydroperoxide) 및 사염화 탄소로 유발한 간세포에서 GSH(glutathione) 함량이 회복되고, 활성산소(ROS) 생성 및 지질과산화 정도가 감소하며, 유독성 화학물질 대사체의 체외 배출을 촉진하는 항산화 효소(GST, HO-1, NQO1)의 활성을 증가시켜 세포 독성 개선효과 및 ALT(alanine amino transferase) 및 AST(aspartate alanine amino transferase) 효소활성의 감소에 의한 간 손상 보호 효과를 확인하여, 간질환 예방 및 치료용 조성물로 유용하게 이용될 수 있다.
