Abstract: An operation type electronic component which is used for a remote controller of various electronic equipment and portable electronic equipment and is equipped with a push switch driven by the rotating and push operation of an operation knob. The component can be reduced in size by a simple construction and can be grounded by merely fitting. A dome-like movable contact (23E) is put on fixed contacts (23A,23B) disposed on a fitting substrate (22) to form a switch unit (23). An L-shaped actuator is interposed between this switch unit (23) and a driving body (21) so that the driving body (21) returns to the original state after the push operation of an operation knob (6) by the elastic operation force of the dome-like movable contact point (23E)of the switch unit (23). Further, a metal plate (25) equipped integrally with a live current portion (10) and a conductor of an earth portion (26) is fixed by insert-molding to the resin fitting substrate (22) and is electrically isolated so as to interpose a lightning conductor portion (26A) of the earth portion (26) between the live current portion (10) and the operation knob (6). According to this constitution, the number of constituent components can be reduced, the overall size can be reduced, too, and static electricity occurring in the operation knob (6) can be always conducted to the earth.

Abstract: An input manipulation element is provided to expand a lifespan by acquiring a clear click touch in the rotation manipulation of an operator based on two absorbing repulsive forces. An input manipulation element includes a manipulation unit(21), two ring magnets(31,32) with a cylindrical shape, magnetic detection elements(71A,71B), and fixing magnets(46,47). The manipulation unit of a roller shape is rotatably supported. The ring magnets have an S-pole and an N-pole which are alternatively magnetized at a predetermined angle. The ring magnets are coaxially fixed on the manipulation unit. The magnetic detection elements are arranged in response to the ring magnet. The fixed magnets are closely arranged to correspond to the ring magnets. The fixing magnets have the same polarities. In a rotation of the manipulation unit, a click touch of the manipulation is applied by the absorbing repulsive forces which are generated between the ring magnets and the fixing magnets.
