Abstract: PURPOSE: A negative electrode with excellent cycle like time is provided to release stress due to reaction with lithium, and to provide a negative electrode with stable cycle performance even after repeating charging/discharging. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a negative electrode for a lithium secondary battery comprises: a step of a silicon layer on a substrate(101); a step of supplying pretreatment gas to a surface of the silicon layer; a step of forming a plurality of silicon rods separated each other by etching the silicon layer; a step of filling a separated space between the silicon rods(105) with conductive solution; and a step of forming a current collector(108) in the separated space by drying the conductive solution. The negative electrode comprises a plurality of silicon rods formed on one side of the substrate, and a current collector filling the separated space between the silicon rods.
