Abstract: PURPOSE: A broadband antenna is provided to ensure wideband characteristics by changing surface resistance according to the shape of a pattern and to load the surface resistance in a singular pattern regardless of the width and length of the antenna. CONSTITUTION: A conductor part receives an electric signal from a feeding unit. A dielectric is formed on the end of the conductor part. A resistor pattern is formed lengthwise on the exterior of dielectric from the end of the conductor part. The pattern of the resistor is spirally wrapped along the exterior of the dielectric. The pattern of the resistor is varied as it moves away from the conductor part. The pattern of the resistor has a constant resistance value and is formed into triangle or polygon shape.
