Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing tris-octahedral Au-Pd alloy nanocrystals, and more specifically, to a method for manufacturing tris-octahedral Au-Pd alloy nanocrystals with high index facets. The manufacturing method according to the present invention may provide a promising strategy for the development of various catalysts and highly efficient catalysts for electrocatalyst reaction. Moreover, the catalytic activity of the tris-octahedral Au-Pd alloy nanocrystals with high index facets according to the present invention is high.
