Abstract:
The present invention relates to an integrity assessment system for managing a rotational structure such as an efficient turbine blade by enabling workers at a work site to easily and intuitively confirm information for the position and size of damage through visualizing the interaction between the damage and ultrasonic wave progress. The system of the present invention comprises an ultrasonic wave generating system for generating an ultrasonic wave by irradiating a pulse laser to one side of the rotational structure; a pulse laser control system for controlling the timing of irradiating the pulse laser; an ultrasonic wave measurement system for measuring the ultrasonic wave generated from the other side of the rotational structure; and a damage detection system for visualizing the measured ultrasonic signal and automatically providing information regarding any damage to the rotational structure, and if so, the location and intensity of such damage.
