Abstract: A large intestine model generating method, a collision checking method, and an endoscope simulation method using the same are provided to offer complete endoscope simulation by effectively checking collision between a virtual endoscope and a large intestine model in real time and feeding back the checked result, thereby providing environment in which unskilled doctors can learn various complicated medical treatments safely and effectively. A large intestine model generating method comprises the following steps of: analyzing plural CT(Computerized Tomography) data to extract a large intestine(S21,S22); making the 3D(Three-Dimensional) image of the extracted large intestine and extracting the center line of the 3D large intestine model(S23,S24); and restoring the surface of the 3D large intestine model based on the center line(S26).

Abstract translation: 提供大肠模型生成方法，碰撞检查方法和使用其的内窥镜模拟方法，通过有效地实时检查虚拟内窥镜与大肠模型之间的碰撞并反馈检查结果来提供完整的内窥镜模拟， 从而提供不熟练医生安全有效地学习各种复杂医疗的环境。 大肠模型生成方法包括以下步骤：分析多个CT（计算机断层摄影）数据以提取大肠（S21，S22）; 制作提取的大肠的3D（三维）图像，并提取3D大肠模型的中心线（S23，S24）; 并基于中心线恢复3D大肠模型的表面（S26）。
