압력 모델링을 통한 전자책 페이지 전환 방법 및 그 장치가 개시된다. 페이지 전환 방법은 입력 이벤트에 의한 터치 좌표를 이용하여 제1 제스처와 제2 제스처로 이루어진 터치 제스처를 인식하는 제스처 인식 단계; 및 터치 제스처가 인식되면 제2 제스처에 따라 디스플레이 수단에 출력되는 화면의 페이지를 전환하는 페이지 전환 기능을 실행하되, 제1 제스처에 의해 결정되는 수량만큼 페이지를 전환하는 기능 실행 단계를 포함할 수 있다.

본 발명은 사용자 자극행동에 따른 로봇 반응행동 수행 방법 및 그 로봇에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 로봇을 대하는 사용자(예; 아동)의 자극행동에 해당되는 스크립트 기반의 반응행동을 실행하고서 사용자와 로봇 간의 친밀도를 업데이트함으로써 로봇을 통한 아동의 성격 순화를 유도하기 위한, 사용자 자극행동에 따른 로봇 반응행동 수행 방법 및 그 로봇을 제공하고자 한다. 이를 위하여, 본 발명은, 로봇 반응행동 수행 방법에 있어서, 사용자자극행동값, 사용자 자극행동 긍정성 파라미터, 로봇반응행동값, 로봇 반응행동 긍정성 파라미터 및 친밀도를 설정하는 단계; 적어도 하나의 센싱 수단을 사용해 사용자의 자극행동에 관한 데이터를 센싱하는 단계; 상기 센싱한 데이터가 어떠한 사용자자극행동값을 갖는지를 인식하는 단계; 상기 인식한 사용자자극행동값에 매칭되는 다수의 로봇반응행동값 중에서 하나를 선택하되, 각 로봇반응행동값의 로봇 반응행동 긍정성 파라미터에 상기 친밀도를 곱한 결과인 각 로봇반응행동값의 확률을 토대로 로봇반응행동을 선택하는 로봇반응행동 선택단계; 및 상기 선택한 로봇반응행동값의 해당 스크립트 내용에 따라 상기 사용자에 대한 반응행동을 실행하는 반응행동 실행단계를 포함한다.

A method for performing robot reaction behavior according to a stimulus of a user and a robot using the same are provided to offer education of humanism effects, and to offer change of reaction behaviors of a robot according to a stimulus of the user. A method for performing robot reaction behavior according to a stimulus of a user includes the following steps of: setting up robot reaction behavior affirmation parameter and closeness, a robot reaction behavior value etc; sensing data about a stimulus action of the user with at least one sensing unit; recognizing the robot reaction behavior value; selecting the robot reaction behavior value based on the robot reaction behavior affirmation parameter and the closeness; and performing reaction behaviors to the user according to corresponding script contents of the selected robot reaction behavior value.

Disclosed are a method and a device for switching pages of an electronic book through pressure modeling. A page switching method may include: a gesture recognition step in which a touch gesture including a first gesture and a second gesture is recognized using touch coordinates of an input event; and a function execution step in which a page switching function for switching pages on a screen output to a display means is performed according to the second gesture if the touch gesture is recognized, wherein the pages are switched by an amount determined by the first gesture.

PURPOSE: A method for providing single interface of a home media system in multiple device environment is provided to provide device connection information, by inputting information about media kind or task to be executed through a specific device, and information about user preference, when a user wants to connect the specific device to the home media system. PURPOSE: An orally narrated fairy tales system for using a script reading robot is provided to enable children to concentrate on a fairy tales by making a robot take proper actions. CONSTITUTION: A script database(500) stores script indicating the action which a performed by a robot in a markup language. An interpreter(700) translates the script. A control unit(800) controls the robot by the translation result. A motion definition database(100) stores the predetermined actions. An action definition database(300) stores the action which will be acted by the robot. A matching unit(600) connects the action of the behavioral definition database and the markup language.

PURPOSE: A character changing apparatus and a method is provided to increase the interest of communion between a robot and a user according to the changing of a character value. CONSTITUTION: A robot system comprises a character changing unit and a behavior diversifying unit(120). The character changing unit changes a profile of the robot according to input information. The behavior diversifying unit carries out various actions by selecting an action script by using a character profile transmitted from the character changing unit.
