Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for processing a data error for a distributed system. The apparatus includes a communication unit for performing communications through a communication network; a rule database for storing a handling rule according to an error check rule including at least one of attribute effectiveness, record internal effectiveness, entity effectiveness, and inter-DB effectiveness, and an error level; a data collection unit for collecting data from a plurality of institute systems; a data error detection unit for comparing the data collected by the data collection unit with the error check rule stored in the rule database, and detecting the data having an error based on the comparison result; a data processing unit for processing the data having an error according to a handling rule stored in the rule database; and a data provision unit for transmitting a data processing result processed by the data processing unit to a user terminal or an integrated database.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A data cleansing system and a method for developing integrated database, and a recording medium therefor are provided to collect data of scattered databases and detect data error and refine detected error. CONSTITUTION: A data collecting unit(220) collects data from a plurality of agency systems. A data error detector(230) detects an error which does not correspond to a standard through a comparison between the collected data and preset detection rules. According to the preset purification rules, a data purifying unit(240) refines the detected data. A user interface unit(280) provides information related to a data purification system(200) to user.
