Abstract: PURPOSE: A damping device is provided to effectively decrease vibration and noise through the operation of a piezo actuator. CONSTITUTION: A coupling hole interconnected with a coupling pipe(11) of a flange sleeve(1) passes through the center of a flange(2). A conical elastic body(3) is interposed between the flange sleeve and the flange to absorb the shock. A through hole(31) is formed in the elastic body. A nut(91) is fastened with a bolt(9) inserted to the coupling pipe. A bottom plate(5) is connected to the bottom of the flange sleeve. Abstract: PURPOSE: A damage detecting method of a structure using the vibration power is provided to detect the local damage of a structure by evaluating and comparing the vibration power of a structure before and after damage. CONSTITUTION: A damage detecting method of a structure using the vibration power is as follows. A sensor detects the changes of the flow and the intensity of the vibration power on a damaged part. A damage index is used as an analysis technique for predicting the damaged position. The damage index satisfies a given equation when the mechanical force is recognized. In case of a 1D structure, such as a beam, four accelerometers are used as a set to evaluate the vibration power from the measured vibration acceleration. In case of a 2D structure, such as a flat panel, eight accelerometers are used as a set.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A strain bolt is provided to prevent damage to a lead wire, such as disconnection, by connecting the lead wire to a gauge terminal. CONSTITUTION: A strain bolt(100) comprises a gauge terminal(210), a lead wire(340), and a pinch member(300).
