    Abstract: Disclosed is a superconducting field coil of a generator, which is suitable for providing a low-voltage variation rate. The present invention is to provide the field coil for a superconducting generator, configured to include: a superconductive main coil which forms a closed loop and is operated in a persistent current mode; and an auxiliary coil which is adjacent to the main coil to be operated in a power applied mode and to apply induced current to increase or decrease the magnetic field of the main coil. According to the present invention, the superconducting field coil can reduce a voltage variation rate and increase the efficiency of the generator by controlling the auxiliary coil side, which has lower inductance than the main coil according to the load variation, to control field side electromotive force. Additionally, according to the present invention, the superconducting field coil can suppress a quench of a superconducting wire rod to be generated when controlling the field side electromotive force control.
