Abstract: 유비쿼터스 멀티미디어 등급 지정 판별 시스템 및 방법이 개시된다. 유비쿼터스 멀티미디어 등급 지정 판별 시스템은 사용자 단말기로부터 저작된 멀티미디어 데이터를 멀티미디어 등급을 지정하여 업로드받는 멀티미디어 관리부; 업로드 된 멀티미디어 데이터를 저장하는 멀티미디어 데이터베이스; 다른 사용자의 요청에 따라 권한 여부와 등급을 판별하여 멀티미디어 데이터를 요청한 사용자 단말기로 제공하는 서비스 제공부; 및 멀티미디어 등급 지정의 오류를 판별하기 위해 이동통신망의 MMS 서버를 통해 멀티미디어 데이터의 등급 지정이 올바른지 판별하는 계약 관계에 있는 서로 다른 사용자들의 휴대 단말기로 소량의 정지 화상으로 된 멀티미디어 변형본이 포함된 MMS 메시지를 전송하고, 그 판별 결과를 SMS 메시지로 수신받는 MMS/SMS 제공부를 포함한다. 따라서, 이 시스템은 사용자 단말기로부터 업로드되는 멀티미디어 데이터의 등급 지정을 판별하여 사용자가 전문성이 결여되거나 실수로 멀티미디어 데이터에 부적절한 등급을 지정하여 발생하는 타인에게 피해를 주는 가능성을 줄일 수 있다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An efficient scanning method for a wireless local area network (LAN) is provided to reduce the initial setup link time on a wireless LAN after an STA (STAtion) searches for an access point (AP). A client terminal(3000) distinguishes the media attribute of the received video streaming packet. According to the determined media characteristic, the client terminal transmits the retransmission request feedback message to the video streaming server.
