    Abstract: An ultrasonic welding-based microfluidic device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent generation of an irregular surface on a channel side while a welding line melts with ultrasonic welding. An ultrasonic welding-based microfluidic device includes a lower plate(110), an upper plate(120), and a channel(113). The lower plate has two melting prevention protrusions(111) formed into constant height and intervals. The upper plate has two welding lines(121). The welding line is formed with intervals wider than the intervals of the melting prevention protrusion. The welding line is welded with the lower plate, and located on an outer side of the melting prevention protrusion. The channel is formed between two melting prevention protrusions.
