Abstract: The method comprises a first step for eliminating dial tone utilizing a filter (30) for detecting and discriminating efficient digit tone, a second step for modulating signal sampled by 8KHz descend sampling to 4KHz sampled signal, a third step for dividing sampled signal into high frequency band and low frequency band group digit tone, a fourth step for analyzing autocorelation of the digit tone, and a fifth step for transmitting result of signal detecting by deciding existancy of signal and frequency of signal.

Abstract: The system for providing various signal services in the electronic telephone exchanger includes a controller connected to a switch network. A common signal service circuit (30) is centralised by a protocol processor (32) controlling the signal services like R2 MFC, DTMF, continuity check tone, and audio signal tone, and a real time processors (33-36) exchanging messages to peripheral devices through the switch network for connecting the signal service to a call process control routine of a call processor (31).

Abstract: Disclosed is a carrier sense (CS) apparatus for data communication. The carrier sense apparatus for data communication detects a start time point and an end time point of a reception frame using a power threshold value and a time threshold value of a preset signal to recognize a length of the reception frame at a modem receiver for data communication. The apparatus includes a power converter for converting a voltage value of an input signal into a power value; a power accumulator for accumulating the power value for a prescribed window interval; a power threshold comparator for comparing an accumulated power value generated from the power accumulator with a predetermined power threshold value, and generating the result value; and a time threshold comparator for counting a predetermined time for which the result value generated from the power threshold comparator is continuously maintained, and determining whether the counted time exceeds a predetermined time threshold value. Therefore, the apparatus considers a threshold value in view of two aspects being time and power, and effectively detects accurate start and end time points of a reception frame under a poor channel environment without increasing the load on hardware.

Abstract: The R2 signal information communicating between two exchangers follows the continuous confirmation procedure so that ther direction of receiving multi-frequency signal could be acknowledged in advance. A digital signal processor (DSP) as a digital filter calculates six frequency spectrums selected from the forward and backward directions after receiving the directional information from the superior microprocessor. The calculated signal and the preset reference value are compared to detect the proper signal so that the processing capability of the digital filter is extended up to 50% and the signal detecting time is improved.
