    Abstract: The present invention provides a method of transmitting an OFDM signal including a step of transforming distribution of an inverse Fourier transformed signal in an OFDM system, an apparatus thereof, and a method of receiving the OFDM signal including a step of extending a received signal. An influence due to a noise at a reception end is reduced by changing size distribution of a signal output from an OFDM modulator to bimodal Gaussian distribution. Erroneous demodulation of a phase may be prevented at a reception end by limiting the signal output from the OFDM modulator to a proper size.
