Abstract: Provided is a hand gesture recognition technique for executing a function of interaction with 3D content included in an electronic book only using camera information without a separate sensor for gesture recognition in an electronic book system with a camera mounted therein. This causes ease of product implementation and can overcome the limits of 2D touch interaction which has relied on only a conventional contact manner.
