Abstract: A gesture recognition system having a movable video camera is provided to acquire an input image necessary for recognizing a gesture by a method in which the video camera is moved on the basis of a position of a user. A video camera(200) moves along a rail installed in a ceiling on the basis of a position of a user and acquires an input image necessary for recognizing a gesture of the user. Sensors(601-604) provide the position of the user to the video camera. The user wears a wearing type device(400) on a part of the body of the user. The wearing type device interfaces with the video camera and the sensors and outputs a control command according to the gesture of the user for the control of a controlled system.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A data input system for a home automation control and an Internet connection using a home server and a method therefor are provided to simply input necessary data by using a portable information terminal installing a wireless communication device such as a Bluetooth or wireless LAN(Local Area Network). CONSTITUTION: A data input processing unit(2-3) inputs data for controlling an information household appliance or connecting the Internet. A portable information terminal real-time OS(Operating System)(2-2) converts a format of the inputted data for transmitting the inputted data to a home server(1). A Bluetooth/wireless LAN module(2-1) composes the converted data as a packet type of a TCP/IP(Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol) and transmits the data to the home server(1).
