Abstract: 본 발명은 차이추정(DoE: Difference of Estimator) 필터를 이용하여 아날로그 신호와 디지털 신호를 분류하는 방법 및 장치에 관한 것이다.
이러한 본 발명의 방법은 통신망을 통해 수신된 기저대역 신호로부터 진폭성분과 위상성분을 추출하고, 이로부터 반송파 주파수 오프셋을 추정하는 전처리 단계; 전처리된 진폭 및 위상 성분으로부터 차이추정(DoE) 필터를 적용하여 미분 성분을 추출하는 미분 단계; 및 차이추정(DoE) 필터의 출력으로부터 특징소들을 산출하고, 상기 산출된 특징소를 소정의 기준과 비교하여 수신된 기저대역신호가 아날로그 신호인지 디지털 신호인지를 판정하는 판정 단계로 구성된다.
따라서 본 발명은 추정필터를 이용하여 미분하고, 미분된 신호로부터 특징소를 추출하여 신호를 판별함으로써 펄스 쉐이핑 과정에서 다양한 형태로 변형된 디지털 신호에 대해서도 정확하게 아날로그 신호와 구분할 수 있다.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for discriminating an analog signal from a digital signal by using a DoE filter are provided to differentiate a signal by using the DoE filter and extract features from the differentiated signal in order to discriminate the signal. A method for discriminating an analog signal from a digital signal by using a DoE(Difference of Estimator) filter comprises the following steps of: extracting amplitude components and phase components from a baseband signal received through a communication network and estimating carrier frequency offset from the extracted components; extracting differential components from the preprocessed amplitude and phase components by applying the DoE filter; and calculating features from output of the DoE filter, and discriminating whether the received baseband signal is the analog signal or the digital signal by comparing the calculated features with predetermined reference.
