Abstract: 본 발명은 신호망을 운용, 관리하는데 있어서 신호망의 중앙집중적 감시를 위한 그래픽 신호망 감시 시스템 및 그 운용방법에 관한 것으로서, 실제로 신호망 관리 시스템의 한 서브 시스템으로 개발된 그래픽 신호망 감시 시스템에 적용되어 다음과 같은 상당한 효과를 거두었다. 첫째, 신호망이나 신호망을 구성하는 SMX-I 시스템의 제원 변경에 효과적으로 대처할 수 있었다. 둘째, 신호망 감시 시스템의 요구사항에 신축성있게 대처할 수 있었다. 세째, 멀티 윈도우 환경을 최대한 이용함으로써 복잡한 신호망을 효과적으로 감시할 수 있었다. 그리고 무엇보다도 본 방법을 이용하면 신호망 이외의 다른 통신망의 감시 시스템도 효과적으로 개발할 수 있으며 그래픽 윈도우 프로그램 기법을 모르는 일반 시스템 개발자라도 쉽게 화면을 개발할 수 있다.
