A transmitting/receiving apparatus and method for separating multiple broadcast signals in a terrestrial cloud broadcast are provided. An apparatus of transmitting a terrestrial cloud broadcast signal includes a plurality of transmitters for transmitting a plurality of terrestrial cloud broadcast signals, each transmitter including: an encoder for generating a codeword by coding input data; and a scrambler for scrambling the generated codeword by using a scramble sequence inherently assigned to each transmitter such that the plurality of terrestrial cloud broadcast signals can be respectively separated. 지상파 DTV 방송 및 부가데이터를 위한 다중 안테나 전송 장치 및 그 방법이 개시된다. 지상파 DTV 방송 신호의 기저대역에서 삽입된 부가데이터를 다수의 송신 안테나를 사용하여 전송하기 위해 기저대역에서 부가데이터 신호를 시공간 부호화 혹은 시공간 다중화하여 변조 전에 기저대역 DTV 방송 신호와 결합함으로써 기존의 지상파 DTV 방송 수신기의 성능에 큰 영향을 미치지 않으면서 부가데이터의 전송 효율을 증대시킬 수 있다.

PURPOSE: A T-DMB(Terrestiral-Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) transmitter and receiver are provided to improve transfer capacity keeping reverse compatibility. CONSTITUTION: An RS(Reed-Solomon) encoder(320) performs the RS encoding of a broadcasting signal. An FEC(Forward Error Correction) encoder(330) performs the channel encoding of an additional signal. A selector(340) selects the RS-encoded broadcasting signal or the channel-encoded additional signal. A VSB(Vestigial Side Band) transmitting unit(370) transmits the signal through an transmission antenna to a receiver.

본발명은단일주파수망(single frequency network)에서동작하는주파수공유형지상파방송시스템에서, 수신기에의한방송신호해석방법에관한것이다. 본발명에따르면, 주파수공유형지상파방송시스템에있어서, 단일주파수망에서서로다른송신기로부터전송된다수의방송신호를구분할수 있다. 또한, 본발명에따르면, 다수의주파수공유형방송신호가동시에수신되는상황에서도개별방송신호의타이밍및 주파수동기를획득할수 있고, 기지국 ID를검출할수 있다.

PURPOSE: A device and method for transmitting/receiving data in a communication system are provided to transceiver additional data of broadcasting data by a transmitter identification signal for identifying a plurality of transmitter in a network. CONSTITUTION: A main service data generator(102) generates main service data of broadcasting data. A transformation unit(112) converts additional data in parallel form. A sequence generator(114) generates pseudo-random noise sequence. A selection unit(116) selects polarity about the pseudo-noise sequence. A control unit(124) controls the mean power of the additional data. A combination unit(106) combines the additional data and the main service data.

PURPOSE: A multi-antenna transmission apparatus for transmitting a terrestrial DTV broadcasting signal and additional data is provided to transmit a terrestrial DTV broadcasting signal and additional data by using multi-antennas. CONSTITUTION: A temporal and spatial mapping unit(202) maps main service symbols generated by a main service symbol generating unit(201) to the plurality of transmission antennas. An additional data symbol generating unit(203) generates additional data symbols for an additional data service. The additional data service may be a service to provided in addition to a DTV broadcast service. A transmission of the additional data provides additional broadcast service in addition to the existing DTV broadcast, and provides data service such as an education service, a stock service, a public announcement service, and the like, in addition to the existing DTV service. In addition, additional information, such as program information, associated with the main service is transmitted. A range of the additional data service may not be limited thereto, and a variety of information may be included. A temporal and spatial encoder(204) performs temporal and spatial encoding of the additional data symbols generated by the additional data symbol generating unit, and generates symbols to be transmitted to the plurality of transmission antennas. The temporal and spatial encoder receives, as inputs, K additional data symbols from the additional data symbol generating unit 203, K being an integer number, and may generate T*M temporal and spatial encoded symbols to be transmitted to the M transmission antennas during a T time duration. A processor(210) generates symbols to be transmitted via the plurality of transmission antennas based on the main service symbols and the additional data symbols.
