복수의 종단간 선형 보호 도메인의 보호 자원이 공유되어 있는 공유 노드의 보호 절체 방법이 제공된다. 공유 노드는 제1 종단간 선형 보호 도메인의 제1 노드로부터 보호 절체 이벤트가 발생했음을 나타내는 제1 보호 절체 이벤트 메시지를 수신하고, 제1 종단간 선형 보호 도메인과 제2 종단간 선형 보호 도메인의 보호 절체 우선 순위를 비교하여서 제2 종단간 선형 보호 도메인의 보호 절체 제한을 결정한다.

PURPOSE: A blockage determining method in a ring network and a device thereof are provided to efficiently disperse traffic by minimizing a ring capacity or a traffic request volume in the ring network. CONSTITUTION: A calculating unit (310) sets up a blockage about each of multiple links of an Ethernet ring network. The calculating unit calculates a traffic request volume of multiple service flows about each of the links in which the blockage is set up. A determining unit (320) determines one link of the multiple links as a blockage link by using the traffic request volume of the multiple service flows about each of the links in which the blockage is set up. The calculating unit calculates the total sum of the traffic request volume of the multiple service flows about each of the links in which the blockage is set up. PURPOSE: A method and device for insulating a sharing mesh protection are provided to protect a linear protective domain between ends with a high priority even if a network resource is limited fro a protection path. CONSTITUTION: A first protection switching event message expressing that a protection switching event is generated from a first node of a first linear protection domain between ends is received(S210). By comparing the protection switching priority of the first linear protection domain between ends and a second linear protection domain between ends, the protection switching limit of the second linear protection domain between ends is determined(S220). If a priority of a protection switching of the second linear protection domain between ends is lower than a protection switching priority of the first linear protection domain between ends(S230), the first protection locking message requesting a protective switching limit transmits a second node of the second linear protection domain between ends(S240).

PURPOSE: A method of flushing a filtering database in a multiple Ethernet ring network is provided to effectively flush a filtering database without error in the multiple Ethernet ring network when a topology of a lower ring network is changed in a multiple ring network. CONSTITUTION: If an upper ring network is not normal, a flush trigger message is transmitted to a port receiving the flush trigger message(S340). The flush message is transmitted to a port to which the upper ring network is connected(S210). If a message included in a protection switching frame is a topology change signal of a lower ring network(S400), one of the flush message and the flush trigger message is transmitted to the port to which the upper ring network is connected according to a state of the lower ring network(S430).

PURPOSE: A protection switch method of multiple rings for performing protection switching is provided to prevent the generation of unnecessary traffic for reconfiguration of filtering database by determining the removal of filtering database in reference with a topology table. CONSTITUTION: Color information of low rank ring network is allocated about lower ring networks. A topology table of the node is generated through color information of the lower network and the color information in a block port(12). If the topology of the low rank ring is changed, the elimination of the filtering database is determined with reference to the topology table.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A protection switching method is provided to prevent the overshooting of traffic amount after protection switching through the initialization of transfer table information in the case of performing the protection switching operation in an Ethernet ring network. CONSTITUTION: If a network topology is changed, plural nodes(100,200,300,400,500,600) delete an address list connected to a ring network in delivery tables(130,230,330,430,530,630). Plural nodes transmit each subnet address list, and update each delivery table based on the subnet address list. If the failure is recovered on a link, an NR_APS(No Request-Automatic Protection Switching) frame is created. The created recovery protection switching frame is transmitted.
Abstract:
An apparatus for processing a protection switching message transmitted to an Ethernet node and a method thereof are provided to minimize the loss of an inputted data frame by processing the protection switching message with the priority higher than a data frame. A forwarding table storage unit(100) stores forwarding information. A packet management processor(200) confirms whether a management message, included in a packet received from an adjacent Ethernet node, is a protection switching message, and then generates control message command information for updating the forwarding information. A packet transmission processor(300) updates the forwarding information related to the control message command information and then processes the protection switching message.

이더넷 링 네트워크의 비환원 모드에서의 장애 복구 방법이 개시된다. 이더넷 링 네트워크에서 각 노드의 맥 주소를 기반으로 각 노드 사이의 링크 우선순위 값을 설정하거나 노드의 우선 순위를 설정하여, 그 우선순위 값을 기준으로 장애 복구 후 폐색 포트를 가지는 노드를 결정함으로써, 폐색 포트 선정의 분산이 가능하다.
Abstract:
A method and an apparatus for controlling congestion of a node constituting an ad hoc network are provided to reduce a packet loss caused by channel contention, improve throughput, and reduce attempts to re-transmit nodes. A monitoring unit divides channel states into a busy channel state and an idle channel state and monitors them(S210). When there is data to be transmitted during monitoring, a channel contention unit contend with neighbor nodes to obtain a channel(S220). In case of winning, a bandwidth calculation unit calculates a currently available bandwidth by using the busy channel states and the idle channel state(S230). A determining unit determines an amount of transmission data based on the available bandwidth(S240).
