    Abstract: A device for measuring the quantity of material flown in seawater is provided to accurately measure the quantity of material flown in the seawater from surface sediment by circulating the seawater flown in a parallel direction for uniformly contacting the whole surface of the collected sediment with the seawater. The device comprises: a housing which includes a supply portion(12) through which seawater is supplied, a receiving portion(14) to receive collected sample, discharge portions(16), each of which is formed in sequence by each partition installed at bottom with predetermined height and a cover tool(20) to open and close open upper portion; a circulation pump which supplies the seawater of the discharge portion to the supply portion to compulsorily circulate the seawater, thereby flowing in a parallel direction in the receiving portion; and material measurement sensors which are equipped at the discharge side to measure the quantity of surface sediment flown in the seawater when the seawater passes through the receiving portion in parallel. The device further comprises a collecting tool including a collecting frame(40) which has an open bottom side and through holes at both sides and a lower cover(44) to close the lower portion of the collection frame when the sample is received in the collection frame.
