Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic thin-film transistor having a gate insulating film using a material in which fine pattern formation can be performed by a printing method or photolithography. SOLUTION: The organic thin-film transistor has a gate electrode, a gate insulating film, an organic semiconductor film, a source electrode, and a drain electrode on a substrate, wherein a gate insulating film, obtained from a photocurable composition containing a polysiloxane compound having a radical polymerizable group and an optical radical generating agent, is used as the gate insulating film. The organic thin-film transistor is manufactured through steps of: coating the substrate, in which the gate electrode is formed, with the photocurable composition, containing the polysiloxane compound having the radical polymerizable group and the optical radical generating agent, by a printing method; and curing by irradiating a layer composed of the photocurable composition with an active energy beam to form the gate insulating film. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gate insulating film of high electric charge mobility, which is formed by employing a simple film formation method such as spin coating or printing, and also to provide a composition for forming the film, and a good organic thin-film transistor that uses the gate insulating film. SOLUTION: As a gate insulating film formation composition, an epoxy resin curing composition is used which contains a polyamide compound having a structure containing a phenolic hydroxyl group represented by a general formula (I) or (II) in a repeating unit. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cationically polymerizable resin composition providing a coating agent having excellent solvent resistance, and good post processability of allowing a long time for a post processing when the post processing such as foil stamping and printing can be applied on the coated surface after application of the coating agent; and to provide the coating agent and a processing method by using the resin composition. SOLUTION: The cationically polymerizable resin composition comprises (1) a cationically polymerizable organic material, and (2) an energy ray-sensitive cationic polymerization initiator at least in a stoichiometric amount, and contains 0.1-20 mmol functional group having acid-trapping properties or proton-trapping properties based on 100 g cationically polymerizable organic material (1).
