Abstract: This invention provides a flame retardant agent composition capable of imparting excellent flame retardancy to a synthetic resin, a flame-retardant resin composition having excellent flame retardancy as well as water resistance and impact resistance, and a molded body thereof. Provided is a flame retardant agent composition containing the following components (A) and (B): component (A): a phosphate-based flame retardant agent containing at least any one of the following components (A-1) to (A-3): component (A-1): one or more melamine salts selected from the group consisting of melamine orthophosphate, melamine pyrophosphate, and melamine polyphosphate; component (A-2): one or more piperazine salts selected from the group consisting of piperazine orthophosphate, piperazine pyrophosphate, and piperazine polyphosphate; and component (A-3): one or more ammonium salts selected from the group consisting of ammonium orthophosphate, ammonium pyrophosphate, and ammonium polyphosphate; and component (B): one or more acid-modified polyolefins.

Abstract: Provided are: a polyphosphate amine salt composition which does not foam during processing, has excellent workability and excellent weather resistance, and can impart excellent flame retardancy to synthetic resins; a polyphosphate amine salt flame retardant composition; a flame-retardant synthetic resin composition containing the same; and a molded article thereof. The polyphosphate amine salt composition contains an orthophosphate amine salt and a polyphosphate amine salt, and the orthophosphate amine salt is contained in an amount of 0.1 to 6.0% by mass. An amine in the polyphosphate amine salt composition is preferably melamine or piperazine.

Abstract: A process for producing a pyrophosphate, particularly melamine pyrophosphate useful as a flame retardant, efficiently in high yield is provided. The process includes firing an orthophosphate, preferably melamine orthophosphate, in the presence of a silicone oil, preferably methylphenyl silicone oil preferably at 120° to 350° C. Examples of useful firing equipment include a hot air dryer, a kneader, a Henschel mixture, a fluidized bed dryer, a rotary kiln, a paddle dryer, an extruder, a vibrating dryer, a far-infrared conveyor furnace, and a microwave firing furnace.

The additive composition contains a bromine-based flame retardant as a component (A), an antimony oxide as a component (B), a compound expressed by the formula (1) below as a component (C), and a phenolic antioxidant as a component (D). In the formula (1), R1, R2, R3, and R4 each independently represent a hydrogen atom or a monovalent hydrocarbon group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms. It is preferable that R1, R2, R3, and R4 in the formula (1) each independently represent a hydrogen atom or a linear alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms.

Abstract: A composition contains an amine phosphate (A) and melamine cyanurate (B). In the composition, it is preferable that the component (A) contains components (A-1) and (A-2) below. The component (A-1) is at least one melamine salt selected from the group consisting of melamine orthophosphate, melamine pyrophosphate, and melamine polyphosphate. The component (A-2) is at least one piperazine salt selected from the group consisting of piperazine orthophosphate, piperazine pyrophosphate, and piperazine polyphosphate. It is possible to provide a composition that can impart a drip prevention effect and excellent flame retardancy to a resin and can provide a molded article with good surface smoothness, by being mixed with the resin.
