Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellulose derivative particle having a spherical shape and hydrophilicity so that it can give a cosmetic a wet feeling and a smooth feeling and to provide its manufacturing method and a cosmetic using it. SOLUTION: The cellulose derivative particle has such a structure that a part or all of the hydroxy groups is substituted with a carboxy group of a polyvalent carboxylic acid via an ester bond and its shape is spherical. When the cellulose derivative particle is mixed in the cosmetic, it gives a wet feeling due to hydrophilicity and a smooth feeling due to the spherical shape and further enhances dispersion of the composition and spread of the cosmetic. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scrub cosmetic that shows high sebaceous stain-removing effect and excellent deodorant effect, as it keeps moderate levels of horny substance-removing effect and massage effect with reduced skin irritation and excellent sense of use, particularly removing the stains clogging pores. SOLUTION: The objective scrub cosmetic is prepared by formulating spherical porous carbon particles of 15-500 μm particle sizes, preferably spherical carbon particles prepared by carbonizing the cellulosic spherical particles in an amount of 0.1-50 wt.% based on the total composition of the spherical carbon particles.

SOLUTION: The moisture-retaining particle has a spherical shape having a structure in which a part of a carboxylic acid ester in a crosslinked polyacrylate particle is hydrolyzed. The crosslinked polyacrylate fine particle being a starting raw material is spherical, the carboxylic acid ester on the surface of the spherical particle is hydrolyzed, a polyacrylic acid is present on the surface of the moisture-retaining particle and the carboxylic acid ester is present in the inside. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas barrier coating agent effectively using saccharides which is natural resources and capable of exhibiting excellent oxygen barrier properties even in high humidity in packaging materials used in a field of packaging for foods, medicines, precision electronic components, or the like.SOLUTION: A sugar chain is simply introduced into a urea skeleton by aminating a reducing hydroxyl group in glucose and di-, tri-, and oligosaccharide comprising glucose, and reacting the reducing hydroxyl group with an isocyanate group of an isocyanate compound having an acryloyl group or a methacryloyl group, and polymers obtained from the urea derivatives and swelling property flaky inorganic substances are blended.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide new fine chitosan particles which are useful as a raw material in the fields of cosmetics, medical materials and chemicals. SOLUTION: The fine chitosan particles contain at least one polyvalent anion in the particles and have antibacterial activity in acidic and neutral regions, or, the fine chitosan particles have an adsorbing action to an anionic substance and a cationic substance, or, the fine chitosan particles have a high moisture-retaining action. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite particle enabling processing with high uniformity by extremely reducing scratch, flaw or undulation, and also enabling high-speed processing, and to provide a method for producing the composite particle and a polishing liquid containing the composite particles. SOLUTION: The composite particle comprises a base material and an abrasive grain composed of one or more inorganic materials, wherein the abrasive grains are at least carried by the surface of the base material. The base material is preferably constituted of polysaccharides. The polysaccharides are polymers of which the oxidation-reduction potential of the derivatives have negative polarity, and the abrasive grain is constituted of a material having >30 mV upper limit of the zeta potential at pH 13, or a material of which a peak value of the zeta potential at pH 13 has positive polarity. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a dye-sensitized solar cell at a low cost without applying high temperature heating.SOLUTION: A dye-sensitized solar cell manufacturing method comprises: applying a dispersion liquid in which zinc oxide particles are dispersed in a solvent to a transparent electrode composed of a substrate and a conductive layer to form a coated film on the conductive layer; evaporating the solvent at a temperature of less than 50°C that is a temperature capable of vaporizing the solvent of the coating film and forming a metal oxide layer composed of zinc oxide particles; and immersing the transparent electrode on which the metal oxide layer is formed in a dye solution containing a sensitizing dye to form a semiconductor layer in which the sensitizing dye is absorbed to the metal oxide layer.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent polishing defects, such as scratches and undulations, on a transparent conductive film.SOLUTION: A polishing agent is composed of fine particles of a functional group-containing organic polymer compound capable of hydrolyzing a transparent conductive film made of ITO, FTO, or the like. As a functional group, a cationic group, such as an amino group, and an anionic group, such as a carboxyl group, may be adopted. As an organic polymer compound, polyacrylic acid ester, polyacrylamide, polystyrene, and the like are suitable. The polishing agent is dispersed in a dispersion medium including at least water, and is used for chemical mechanical polishing, by means of a loose grain method, on a transparent conductive film.
