    Abstract: A method is performed at an electronic device with a display, touch-sensitive surface and one or more sensors to detect intensity of contacts with the touch-sensitive surface. The method includes displaying a user interface with a first region and a second region embedded in the first, the second region also being independently scrollable such that its content can be moved without moving other content in the first region. In response to detecting a contact and movement of the contact when a focus selection is over the second region, and when the contact has a maximum intensity that is above a respective intensity threshold, content in the second region is translated on the display without other content translating the first region. When the contact has a maximum intensity that is below a respective intensity threshold, content in the first region is translated on the display.

    Abstract: The present application is related to a computer for providing output to a user. The computer includes a processor and an input device in communication with the processor. The input device includes a feedback surface and at least one sensor in communication with the feedback surface, the at least one sensor configured to detect a user input to the feedback surface. The processor varies a down-stroke threshold based on a first factor and varies an up-stroke threshold based on a second factor. The method includes, generating for the maps application a first user interface and information for generating a second user interface.     Abstract: While displaying playback of a first portion of a video in a video playback region, a device receives a request to add a first annotation to the video playback. In response to receiving the request, the device pauses playback of the video at a first position in the video and displays a still image that corresponds to the first, paused position of the video. While displaying the still image, the device receives the first annotation on a first portion of a physical environment captured in the still image. After receiving the first annotation, the device displays, in the video playback region, a second portion of the video that corresponds to a second position in the video, where the first portion of the physical environment is captured in the second portion of the video and the first annotation is displayed in the second portion of the video.
