    Abstract: A measuring bridge for determining the orientation of reference points on the body of a motor vehicle, having at least one essentially vertically and longitudinally variable measuring adaptor which, being attached to at least one measuring vehicle, is adjustable and selectively determinable in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle to be measured. The adaptor is adjustable transversely to the vehicle. The measuring bridge has a single, rigid measuring bar adjustable longitudinally below the motor vehicle, which is equipped along each of two opposite sides with at least one track, the tracks serving as guides abd mounting supports for measuring vehicles carrying measuring adaptors.

    Abstract: The support is intended for holding sheet metal parts during welding operations on a motor vehicle body. It comprises a pillar (1) with an adjustable carrier arm having a clamp at the end to hold the part. The pillar is provided with a forked foot (2) formed by a transverse plate (3) with two side flanges (4). A swivel hook (6) carried on a cross-bolt (5) through the flanges is capable of receiving a link of a chain (K) whose end is anchored (A) to the floor. The hook has a cam contour (9) which permits it to be rotated and then clamped by driving a wedge (10) between the plate (3) and the cam face (9), thus tightening the chain and firmly securing the pillar to the ground.

    Abstract: The jacked car supporting structure has four supporting assemblies fitted slidingly in pairs on two parallel rails (8). Each assembly has a vertical column (1) to which parallel legs (2,3) connect at a distance by way of diagonal struts (6) and cross bar (7). In addition the vertical stability of the columns (1) is strengthened by further hypotenuse elements (6). Each column (1) has on its upper end a lateral bore (4), through which a supporting element (T) is fitted slidingly and kept in the required axial position by a fixing pin (10) penetrating the column and the supporting element through hole (9). The lower part of the columns (1) facing the car longitudinal axis rollers (8) are fitted on brackets providing support for the cantilevered supporting elements while resting on the shop floor. The free ends of legs (2) and (3) are slidingly fitted to anchor pieces (A), which in turn slide in a slot of the rail (S).
