    Abstract: A cement admixture which can combine the flowability of a fresh concrete with a high strength of a hardened concrete; and a concrete containing the same. The admixture comprises a mixture of a fluorine compound represented by the general formula (1): R -Q -O-(A -O)k-R and having a weight-average molecular weight (Mw) to number-average molecular weight (Mn) ratio (Mw/Mn) of 1.1 or higher wherein R represents C1-22 aliphatic polyfluorohydrocarbyl optionally containing ethereal oxygen or thioethereal sulfur, Q represents C1-5 linear or branched alkylene, k is an integer of 1 to 100, A represents C2-4 linear alkylene, wherein at least one hydrogen atom may have been replaced with a hydrocarbon group optionally containing ethereal oxygen, provided that when k is 2 to 100, the A 's may be the same or different, and R represents hydrogen, C1-18 hydrocarbyl, or C1-18 acyl.
