Abstract:
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer program products, for presenting user interface elements. A first page of one or more user interface elements is presented on a touch-sensitive display. Each of the user interface elements corresponds to a respective application. A gesture performed on the touch-sensitive display is detected. In response to the detected gesture, a second page of one or more user interface elements is presented on the touch-sensitive display.
Abstract:
Methods, systems, and computer-readable medium for providing an audio file interface. In one implementation, a method is provided. The method includes, while playing an audio file on a mobile device and displaying a current view in a user interface of the mobile device, receiving first user input requesting that an audio interface be displayed, and displaying the audio interface as an overlay in the user interface, where the audio interface includes information associated with the audio file.

Abstract:
In a computer-implemented method, at a portable multifunction device with a touch screen display, a series of ratings indicia are displayed on the touch screen display, wherein the ratings indicia comprise a lowest rating indicia and one or more progressively higher rating indicia. A finger gesture by a user on one or more of the ratings indicia is detected, wherein the finger gesture contacts a last rating indicia immediately prior to breaking contact with the touch screen display. A rating corresponding to the last rating indicia contacted by the finger gesture is used as input to a function or application in the device.
Abstract:
In accordance with some embodiments, a computer-implemented method is performed at a portable multifunction device with a rectangular touch screen display that includes a portrait view and a landscape view. The method includes detecting the device in a first orientation, and while the device is in the first orientation, displaying an application in a first mode on the touch screen display in a first view. The method also includes detecting the device in a second orientation, and in response to detecting the device in the second orientation, displaying the application in a second mode on the touch screen display in a second view. The first mode of the application differs from the second mode of the application by more than a change in display orientation.
