Polyolefϊn composition for membrane suitable for use in waterproofing applications. In particular, the present invention relates to a membrane for use in geomembranes, for water containment and conveyance, pool liners, rainstorm and fish pond liners, snow lagoons, water and industrial reservoirs, food related lining etc. Such membrane comprises at least one layer comprising an heterophasic composition of olefin polymers and a specified additives package.

A process for producing polyolefin articles comprising an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer, wherein the polyolefin component is melted and mixed with the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer in the presence of a stabilizing composition comprising: a) one or more acid scavengers in amounts equal to or higher than 300 ppm by weight with respect to the weight of the polyolefin component; and b) one or more phenolic antioxidants in amounts equal to or higher than 1100 ppm by weight with respect to the weight of the polyolefin component.

Polypropylene compositions, particularly suited for preparation of stretched/oriented articles, especially for injection stretch blow moulded bottles, comprising: A) one or more propylene homopolymers or propylene copolymers or their mixtures; B) from 500 to about 1500 ppm by weight of talc in form of particles having average particle diameter of equal to or less than 1.5 µm. Said compositions display higher crystallization temperature with respect to the same polyolefin (A) without addition of (B), while keeping good levels of transparency, particularly when (A) is or comprises a random polymer.
