Abstract: The invention relates to thermocurable bismaleimide resins which contain a bismaleimide and a heterocyclic comonomer containing alkenyl or alkenyloxy end groups. The preferred comonomer is 2,6-bis(2-propenylphenoxy)pyridine. The bismaleimide resins are suitable for the preparation of high-performance composite materials.
