Abstract: Compns. contg. (a) 40 to 70 wt. % esters of acids obtained by chromic-acid oxidn. of montan-wax with polyhydric alcohols; (b) 1 to 20 % esters of fatty acids with > 12C-atoms, with mono-and/or polyhydric alcohols; (c) 25 to 50% mg-soaps of the acids defined under (a) and/or (b). The compsns. have melt-visc. 60 to 210 cP at 120 degrees C. The Mg-content is 0.6 to 1.5 weight-% in form of soap. Used as polishes with fine gloss.
