Abstract: Parent patent discloses a process for prepn. of 1-alkenyl-isocyanates of formula (I) (where each R' is H, alkyl, cycloalkyl, aralkyl or aryl, and unless they are H, 2 R' groups together may den ote members of a carbocyclic ring) by heat decompsn. of N-(1-alkenyl)-N-tert-alkyl carbamo 1 chlorides of formula (II) (where R2 is tert alkyl and X is halogen). In present Patent of Addn. pyrolysis takes place in the presence of Zn phosphate. (I) are useful monomers or co-monomers for prepn. of polymers. Yields of (I) and service-life of catalysts are improved.
