Abstract: The present invention relates to cellular elastomers, wherein the cellular elastomer comprises magnetizable particles, which have a chain-shaped orientation parallel to one another. In addition, the invention relates to a method for producing cellular elastomers, preferably cellular polyurethane elastomers, with cellular polyurethane elastomers having a density according to DIN EN ISO 845 between 200 kg/m 3 and 5000 kg/m 3 (wherein the weight of said magnetizable particles is taken into consideration) being particularly preferred. The cellular elastomers are produced in the presence of magnetizable particles such that said magnetizable particles are present in the cellular elastomer. The production of the cellular elastomers is carried out in the presence of a preferably artificial magnetic field, which has a flux density of greater than 0.01 tesla, preferably a flux density of between 0.05 and 2 tesla. In addition, the present invention relates to cellular elastomers obtained in this way, particularly shoe soles comprising the inventive cellular elastomers.
