Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of increasing the milk and/or meat quantity of silage-fed animals comprising the steps: a) treating plants and/or propagules and/or sites where the plants are growing or are to grow with at least one strobilurin compound b) producing silage from the plants treated according to step a) c) feeding the milk and/or meat producing animals with the silage produced according to step b) made from the plants treated according to step a). Furthermore, the present invention relates to silage for feeding animals, produced from plants treated with at least one strobilurin compound prior to producing said silage. In addition, the present invention relates to the use of at least one strobilurin compound to increase the milk quantity of silage-fed milk-producing animals. Moreover, the present invention relates to the use of at least one strobilurin compound to increase the meat quantity of silage-fed meat-producing animals.

Abstract: La presente invención se refiere a un método para aumentar la cantidad de leche y/o de carne de animales alimentados con ensilaje que comprende las etapas: a) tratando plantas, y/o propágulos y/o sitios donde las plantas están creciendo o van a crecer con por lo menos un compuesto de estrobilurina, b) produciendo ensilaje de las plantas tratadas de acuerdo con la etapa a), y c) alimentando los animales productores de leche y/o de carne con el ensilaje producido de acuerdo con la etapa b) de las plantas tratadas de acuerdo con la etapa a). Además, la presente invención se refiere a ensilaje para alimentar animales, producido de plantas tratadas con por lo menos un compuesto de estrobilurina antes de producir dicho ensilaje. Adicionalmente, la presente invención se refiere a el uso de por lo menos un compuesto de estrobilurina para aumentar la cantidad de leche de animales productores de leche, alimentados con ensilaje. Además, la presente invención se refiere a el uso de por lo menos un compuesto de estrobilurina para aumentar la cantidad de carne de animales productores de carne, alimentados con ensilaje.
