Abstract:
The present invention relates to a process for producing polymer fibres, especially nano- and mesofibres, by the electrospinning process, in which a colloidal dispersion of at least one essentially water-insoluble polymer and of at least one nonionic surfactant, if appropriate further comprising at least one water-soluble polymer, is electrospun in an aqueous medium. The present invention further relates to fibres obtainable by this process.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to methods, use and compositions for combating harmful fungi and bacteria in plants. More specifically, it relates to methods and compositions for controlling, preventing, or treating plant pathogens using UV filters for combating phytotoxin-producing fungi and/or bacteria, in particular, for combating harmful fungi and/or bacteria producing photodynamically active phytotoxins.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a use of a polymer solubilizer for increasing the soil mobility of a low-solubility insecticide, the polymer solubilizer being such that the insecticidal active substance in a 1 wt % aqueous solution of the polymer solubilizer at 25°C and 1.01325 bar is at least 40 times more soluble than under the same conditions in pure water, and the weight ratio of active substance : solubilizer being = 1.
Abstract:
Insecticide-modified bead material composed of expandable polystyrene (EPS), comprising at least one insecticide selected from the group of the insecticidal phenylpyrazoles, chlorfenapyr and hydramethylnon which is distributed in molecular dispersion in the polystyrene matrix.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for producing extruded polystyrene foam (XPS) moulded pieces provided with insecticide, comprising the following steps: (a) heating polystyrene (PS) to form a polymer melt, (b) introducing a blowing agent into the polymer melt to give a foamable melt and (c) foaming the foamable melt to give an XPS moulded piece, wherein in at least one of the steps (a) and/or (b), at least one insecticide from the group of phenylpyrazoles, chlorfenapyr and hydramethylnon is introduced into the melt.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an agrochemical formulation comprising a pesticide, an organic UV photoprotective filter and coated metal oxide nanoparticles. It also relates to a method for preparing said formulation. Further on, it also relates to the use of a mixture of an organic UV photoprotective filter and coated metal oxide nanoparticles in agrochemical formulations and the use of a agrochemical formulation according to the invention for stabilizing a pesticide against UV irradiation. Further on, it relates to a method of combating harmful insects and/or phytopathogenic fungi, which comprises contacting plants, soil or habitat of plants in or on which the harmful insects and/or phytopathogenic fungi are growing or may grow, plants or soil to be protected from attack or infestation by said harmful insects and/or phytopathogenic fungi with an effective amount of the formulation according to the invention, to a method of controlling undesired vegetation, which comprises allowing a herbicidal effective amount of said formulation to act on plants, their habitat.
Abstract:
The present invention comprises formulations comprising at least one pesticide and at least one co-polymer comprising a) 1-vinyl-2-pyrrolidinone as comonomer a); and b) 60-99 wt% at least one comonomer b) chosen from the group of laurylacrylate and vinyl ester of neodecanoic acid in polymerized form, methods of combating harmful insects and/or phytopathogenic fungi, a method of controlling undesired vegetation and methods of improving the health of plants based on the afore-mentioned formulations.
