Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for producing polyurethane hard foam composite elements containing at least one top layer and a polyurethane hard foam layer, in which method (a) polyisocyanates are mixed with (b) compounds comprising at least two hydrogen atoms reactive with isocyanate groups, optionally (c) flame retardant, (d) propellant, (e) catalyst, and optionally (f) auxiliaries and additives to form a reaction mixture, which reaction mixture is applied to the top layer and cures to form the polyurethane hard foam. The component (b) contains at least one polyether alcohol (b1), produced by alkoxylation of a starter or a starter mixture having a mean functionality of 4 to 8 and a hydroxyl number in the range between 300 and 600 mg KOH/g, at least one aromatic Mannich condensate (b2), which can be alkoxylated, producible by reacting an aromatic compound, which at an aromatic ring carries at least one hydroxyl group and/or at least one -NHR group, where R is any organic group or hydrogen, with one or more aldehydes and/or ketones and one or more primary or secondary amines, and at least one aromatic polyester polyol (b3). The proportion of aromatic Mannich condensate is more than 5% by weight to less than 20% by weight, in relation to the total weight of component (b). The present invention further relates to a polyurethane hard foam composite element that can be obtained in accordance with such a method.

The invention further relates to the polyol components comprising the aforementioned components B) and C) and optionally D), E), F), G), and H).

Abstract: The present invention relates to polyester polyols that are obtained or obtainable by means of esterification of from 10 to 70 mol-% of at least one compound selected from the group consisting of terephthalic acid (TPA), dimethyl terephthalate (DMT), polyethylene terephthalate (PET), phthalic acid anhydride (PSA), phthalic acid, and isophthalic acid, of from 0.1 to 30 mol-% of one or more fatty acids and/or fatty acid derivatives, of from 10 to 70 mol-% of one or more aliphatic or cycloaliphatic diols having 2 to 18 C atoms or alkoxylates thereof, of from 5 to 70 mol-% of a polyether polyol, produced by alkoxylation of an aromatic starter molecule having a functionality that is greater than or equal to 2, and of from 0 to 70 mol-% of a tri- or polyol differing from the polyether polyol, in each case relative to the total amount of components employed, with the sum of the amounts of the components employed being 100 mol-%. The present invention further relates to a method for producing polyurethane rigid foams or polyisocyanurate rigid foams comprising the reaction of an isocyanate component with a polyol component (PK) containing a polyester polyol according to the invention and other components, wherein the polyol component as such, as well as the polyurethane rigid foam or polyisocyanurate rigid foam are obtained or obtainable by the method according to the invention. The present invention also relates to the use of a polyester polyol (P1) according to the invention for generating polyurethane rigid foams or polyisocyanurate rigid foams.
