Abstract: The invention relates to a foam which comprises a foam matrix having essentially open cells and an impregnation comprising essentially fluorocarbon resin or silicone resin applied to the foam matrix. The impregnation additionally comprises at least one flame-retardant substance. The invention further relates to a process for producing a foam according to the invention.
