Abstract: PURPOSE: To prepare a mixture of optionally substd. cyclo-hexylamine and optionally substd. dicyclohexylamine by hydrogenation of a correspondingly substd. aniline. CONSTITUTION: A palladium catalyst supported on an Al2 O3 support is obtained by treating first α- or γ-Al2 O3 with at least one compd. of rare earth metal and with at least one compd. of manganese in which the total amount of the rare earth metals and manganese is 0.05-8 wt.% relative to the total weight of the catalyst and a weight ratio of the rare earth metal and manganese is 5:1-l:5, and then treating with at least one palladium compd. in which the Pd content is 0.05-5% wt.% of the total catalyst weight.
