Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a tire, which sufficiently forms a resin material between cords, and to provide a tire.SOLUTION: Coated steel cord 13 is formed by coating one or more steel cords 13S of a thermoplastic material, and coated bead 11 formed by heat welding the thermoplastic materials of the plurality of the coated steel cords 13 is formed. The coated bead 11 is made to abut on a fixture in the cavity of a mold forming the tire frame member and fixed in the mold, and the thermoplastic molten resin is injected into the cavity to mold the tire frame member.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a multilayered film structure having sufficiently assured strength in a join portion. SOLUTION: The multilayered film structure 10 having the sufficiently assured strength in the join portion is obtained by arranging the end of one multilayered film 12 and the end of another multilayered film 12 face to face with a space placed between them, filling a molten welding thermoplastic material 24 into at least the space, welding the molten end of one multilayered film 12, the molten end of another multilayered film 12 and the molten welding thermoplastic material 24 to each other, cooling and solidifying them. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire having a high internal pressure retaining performance even if a tire constitution member is formed of a thermoplastic material, and a manufacturing method for the tire. SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire 10 includes: a tire skeleton member 17 formed of a thermoplastic material; and a rubber chafer 24 provided on a bead constitution portion 12M of the tire skeleton member 17 and in contact with a rim 20. When the pneumatic tire 10 is assembled to the rim 20, the rubber chafer 24 abuts on the rim 20. Then, since rim fitting property is sufficient and gas is hardly removed from a space between a bead 12 and the rim 20 even if air is filled in the tire, the internal pressure retaining performance is high even if the tire skeleton member 17 is formed of the thermoplastic material. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently produce a tire which secures the enough strength of the welded part of a tire component member made of a thermoplastic material by a simple apparatus. SOLUTION: A lower side tire half 17A made of the thermoplastic material is held by inserting a first holder 78 into an annular groove formed close to a welding surface, and an upper side tire half 17A is held by inserting a second holder 82 into an annular groove formed in the vicinity of the welding surface. After a welding margin 25 formed on the welding surface is melted, the first holder 78 and the second holder 82 are made to approach each other, and the tire halves 17A are welded together. Since the vicinity of the welding surface of the tire half 17A is pressed by the holder, pressure from the holder can efficiently be applied to the welding surface, and the welding surfaces can surely be welded together. Since the tire halves 17A are supported without using a bladder etc., the structure of the apparatus is simplified. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition capable of being manufactured at low environment load and at low cost without using a complicated manufacturing step and having performance equal to a rubber composition in which a substitution material is not formulated, and a tire using the rubber composition. SOLUTION: In the rubber composition, a plant resource extraction residue remained after a plant resource is immersed in a solvent and solid-liquid extraction is performed is formulated relative to a rubber component, and the maximum particle diameter of the plant resource extraction residue is 600 μm or less. Alternatively, in the rubber composition, the plant resource extraction residue contains the residue having a particle diameter of 90 μm or more at a ratio of 50 mass% or less. Further, in the tire, the rubber composition is used for at least a part. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the spinning and sinking in sand, of a wheel, while securing sufficient traction performance by improving a ground contact body of the wheel. SOLUTION: This ground contact body 5 for the wheel 1 is mounted in the vehicle running on a surface of a celestial body. The ground contact body 5 is provided with: a porous member 7 arranged in a portion in contact with the surface of the celestial body; and a support member 9 for supporting the porous member 7. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety tire with a relatively simple structure, capable of using a conventional rim, and superior in rim assembly performance while improving durability better than the conventional art. SOLUTION: The safety tire 1 comprises a pair of bead parts 3 with bead cores 2 buried therein, a pair of side wall parts 4 extending from the bead parts 3 outwardly to the tire-radial direction, and a tread part 5 striding and extending between the both side wall parts 4, 4. An expansible annular diaphragm 6 is arranged between the both bead parts 3, 3 for fractionating a space demarcated between the tire 1 and the rim 7 when the tire 1 is mounted to the rim 7 into two chambers of an inner chamber 8 and an outer chamber 9 in the tire-radial direction. The diaphragm 6 is equipped with a communicating part 10 for communicating the inner chamber 8 and the outer chamber 9 while limiting flow velocity. Both width-end parts of the diaphragm 6 are inserted into annular grooves 11 formed at the bead parts 3 and fixed to the bead parts 3 by fitting ring-shaped fixing members 12 to the annular grooves 11. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety tire having a relatively simple structure, capable of using a conventional rim and superior in a rim-assembling property while enhancing durability as compared with a prior art. SOLUTION: The safety tire 1 has a pair of bead parts 3 buried with a bead core 2; a pair of side wall parts 4 extending from the bead part 3 to an outer side in a tire radial direction; and a tread part 5 laid/extending between both side walls 4, 4. Such a safety tire 1 is further provided with an expandable annular partition membrane 6 extending between both bead parts 4, 4 and dividing a space partitioned between the tire 1 and the rim 7 to two chambers of an inner and outer chamber in the tire radial direction when the tire is attached to the rim 7. Such a partition membrane 6 is provided with at least one communication part 10 for communicating the inner chamber 8 with the outer chamber 9 while restricting a flow speed. Both width ends are fixed along the inner side surface in the tire width direction of the respective bead part 3 through a fixing means 11. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
