PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a rubber composition securing a low rolling resistance without damaging its destructive characteristics, and the rubber composition obtained by the method and a tire obtained by using the same composition. SOLUTION: This method for producing the rubber composition containing (A) a styrene-butadiene copolymer rubber (SBR), (B) an SBR which is the same to or different from the above SBR(A), (C) a reinforcing filler and (D) a cross-linking agent is provided by using as the SBR(A), the one having a higher styrene content than that of the SBR(B), obtaining a master batch by adding the whole of (C) the reinforcing filler to the SBR(A), and then mixing/kneading the SBR(B) and (D) the cross-linking agent into the obtained master batch. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition that can exactly actualize desired rubber physical materials by eliminating the influence on the physical property of rubber caused by kneading, even when the kneading conditions are changed. SOLUTION: The rubber composition comprises rubber components and vapor phase grown carbon fiber. After kneading, the length of the vapor phase grown carbon fiber is in the range of from 0.5 to 1,000 μm and the diameter is in the range of from 0.01 to 50 μm. The aspect ratio of the average length and the average diameter of the vapor phase grown carbon fiber is suitably in the range of from 0.01 to 10,000 based on the average length and the average diameter after the kneading. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the decomposition of a charge controlling agent and to suppress the generation of low-molecule components by using the charge controlling agent having a structure which is not easily decomposed as a charge controlling agent for display medium particles composing a display medium to be used for an information display panel. SOLUTION: An electric field is applied to one sort or more of display media having optical reflectance and electrostatic chargeability sealed into a space between substrates 1, 2 and the display media are moved to display information such as an image on an information display panel. As a charge controlling agent with negative chargeability for negatively charging display medium particles composing the display medium to be used for the information display panel, a zirconium compound, preferably salicylic acid zirconium complex, is used to prevent the decomposition of the charge controlling agent and to suppress the generation of low molecule components.
