    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide an electronic machinery having a function for varying the length of fancy rule corresponding to the size of document currently formed, by moving a printer head and carrying out printing then calculating the printing number of rules from the size of document data being stored and controlling the printing of rules. CONSTITUTION:Under the condition where character data are inputted through a keyboard 3 and stored in a document storage area TXT in RAM5, a rule print command is provided through a print command key STR, then the document size data being specified by means of a document size key CS is read out and stored in a document size register TS. The number of rule patterns to be printed continuously is calculated from the document size data, and stored in a print number register S so as to initialize a position counter PC. Then a rule pattern is read out from a character generator CG in ROM4 and printed by means of a printer 2. After printing, the position counter PC is updated and the count of PC is compared with the content of the print number register S so as to judge whether the rules corresponding to predetermined number of characters are printed.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a list printing that is superior in listing performance and with good appearance making extra space by detecting size information of plural pictures each of which has a number and decided output order which is different from input order in accordance with picture information of plural pictures detected. SOLUTION: A control part 21 stores picture data from a digital camera 10 in a buffer memory 22 and successively outputs to a recording part 23 by line. An output mode is that, when picture data is of normal size, four sheets are outputted per line and when picture data is of panoramic size, one sheet is outputted on a line. The control part 21 detects attribute information of picture number n from the digital camera 10, judges whether the picture is of normal size or panoramic, stores picture data of normal size in the buffer memory 22, outputs them to recording part for every four sheets accumulated and then outputs panoramic size picture data. In this way, a printing result of conditions in which the pictures are arrayed in the output order, different from the order based on the picture number can be obtained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To always perform rotational printing of characters having the same size, by parallelly arranging a plurality of rollers at a predetermined interval and generating a reference recording synchronous signal while always monitoring respectively outputted recording synchronous signals. CONSTITUTION:A synchronous pulse generating counter 28 has a normal time width register T3 and outputs the driving reference synchronous signal becoming the processing reference of a data source, which is sent out from a control apparatus 29 at every elapse of time set on the basis of stored data, to a CPU 21. The CPU 21 parallelly controls the reading of data from the control apparatus 29 and the printing driving of a recording head 3 on the basis of said reference synchronous signal. At each time when the driving reference synchronous signal is generated from the synchronous pulse generating counter 28, an interruption processing routine is started and, by the driving of the detection rollers 4a, 4b provided above and below an ink emitting orifice 15, the slide distance of the distribution center point of the orifice 15 is detected in a false manner and printing control is executed on the basis of the detection result. Therefore, inputted recording data can always be outputted to a recording material in the same size without being affected by a manual scanning rotary direction.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent ink contained in a nozzle from adhering to the nozzle and facilitate maintenance of a recording head, by providing a recording head- controlling means for effecting an ink-jetting operation for preventing the adhesion of the ink through scanning in a specified direction except the scanning during recording (printing). CONSTITUTION:It is detected by a detecting means 21 whether a manual scanning type recorder is being moved forward or backward. A detection signal thus obtained is inputted to a head-controlling means 20. When the recorder is being moved forward, ink is jetted from nozzles, whereby recording data supplied from an external controller 14 is recorded (printed) on a body 15 to be recorded. After completion of printing, the recorder is transferred onto a needless paper, the recorder is moved backward. During the movement, the ink is jetted from the nozzles a predetermined number of times, based on a command from a recording head controller 20. As the ink is thus jetted, the ink adhering to the inner surfaces of the nozzles is discharged, thereby preventing adhesion of the ink in the nozzles.
