    Abstract: PURPOSE:To execute various announcing function only by replacing a magnetic tape by recording control information for an announcing function on each magnetic tape, and reproducing a magnetic tape and making an announcement. CONSTITUTION:A control flow for announcing operation is recorded at the head part of the track R on a magnetic tape 13 and speech data for an announcement is recorded successively on the track L; and label codes 0, 1, 2... for program search and a stop code are recorded at respective position on the track R. A CPU9 writes the control flow and index data in memory 19 through reproducing heads 12L and 12R and then reads them out of the memory 19 successively to supply various signals to a driving circuit 10; and the tape 13 is run and the speech data on the tape 13 is announced from speakers 16L and 16R through a reproducing equalizer 14L and amplifiers 15L and 15R. The tape 13 is replaced to make various announcements.

SOLUTION: A computer A11 managed by a work usage charge management company is provided with a payment history information storage part for storing history information indicating the history of payment of a copyright charge paid by a work user and a control part for updating the stored history information in accordance with the payment of the copyright charge by the user and generating information concerned with the discount of the copyright charge on the basis of the history information. In the case of reusing the same work by downloading the same composition data as a composition recorded in a CD already purchased by the user of the work from a computer C16 to a computer B13, the user is allowed to pay a copyright charge discounted on the basis of the discount information.

SOLUTION: Through a radio communication part 35, a CPU 30 performs short-distance radio communication with an object (certificate device for storing the information of access right) put on the body of a person having the right capable of accessing the secret information not to be known by the other person during the work of that information and performs certifying processing while using security related data 36 so as to detect whether the person having the access right is located close or not. When it is detected the person having the access right gets away, the secret information during that work is automatically enciphered and the secret information during work before enciphering is automatically erased so that the other person can not know the secret information.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely avoid the reproduction of information which is erased once by storing information on variation from an original state by periodically changing the intensity or state of magnetism, the storage amount of electric charges, or the unbalanced state of a differential circuit. SOLUTION: When data are transferred for information writing, a bus width adjustment interface part 25 outputs it to an internal bus 27 and sets a write signal to logic '1' for a certain time at the same time. Then a selector part 20 outputs data composed of specific bits of an input 20a to an inverter part 21 in response to the logic '1' of the signal. The inverter part 21 generates and outputs inverted data of the specific-bit data to a flip-flop(FF) part 22, latches the inverted data with an FF signal generated in synchronism with a write signal, and outputs the latch data to a logic switching part 24 and the other input 20b of the selector 20. Then the latch data of the FF part 22 are inverted periodically and repeatedly to prevent the same information from being held at the FF part 22 for a long time.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the destination of communication from being known by a third person when transferring information from a communication source to that communication destination in a communication system, such as electronic mail system. SOLUTION: For this communication system, mail is transferred from a transmission host 11a via servers D14 and C13 to a reception host 12a. The transmission host 11a enciphers the address of the reception host 12a to be the destination 3 with a public key PKc, which can be decoded only by the server C13 to be the destination 2, enciphers the repetition address of the server C13 with a public key PKd, which can be decoded only by the server D14 to be the destination 1, and transmits the mail while designating the repetition address of the server D14 together with mail contents. The server D14 transfers the mail contents by deciphering the address of the next repeating server C13 with a secret key SKd, and the server C13 transfers the mail contents by deciphering the address of the reception host 12a with a secret key SKc. Thus, the address of the reception host 12a is transferred to the final repeating server C13, while being enciphered with a code which cannot be decoded excepting for the server C13.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To efficiently store a musical sound waveform in a data storage area small in capacity by storing address information and allocation information by attaching on the amplification information of waveform data converted to digital values divided into plural steps corresponding to the peak value of the musical sound waveform and of different number of bits. CONSTITUTION:The musical sound waveform for each tone frequency of several kinds of tone colors of a musical instrument is divided into the plural steps corresponding to the peak value, respectively, and divided musical sound waveform data are digital-converted with different number of bits, and an address is attached on each musical sound waveform data, and they are stored in different waveform data storage areas. In other words, in a piano, it is divided into two steps of a piano waveform 1 of 16 bits and a piano waveform 2 of 12 bits, and one piano tone is comprised by reading out the piano waveform 1 and the piano waveform 2 sequentially. The allocation information and the amplitude information of each waveform data divided respectively are stored in an address storage area. In such a way, it is possible to efficiently store the musical sound waveform by effectively using a memory area.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To limit a sum within a range at the output side and to obtain an audibly excellent acoustic signal by applying compression conversion to a digital sum data of an acoustic signal outputted from a summing means based on the conversion characteristic which decreased its tilt as the absolute value is increased. CONSTITUTION:A digital sum data outputted from an adder 2 adding plural digital acoustic signals is subject to compression conversion based on the conversion characteristic in such a way that the tilt is decreased as the absolute value is increased. For example, when the absolute value of the digital summing data is a prescribed threshold level or below, the digital summing data is converted into a digital output data based on the conversion characteristic whose tilt is 1 and when the absolute value is a prescribed threshold level or over, the digital summing data is subject to compression conversion into a digital output data smaller than the value based on the conversion characteristic whose tilt is 1 or below. Thus, the digital output data is outputted to a D/A converter 11 with fidelity in a range where the absolute value of the amplitude with a high probability as the output of the digital summing data is small and the digital summing data is smoothly compressed in a range where the absolute value of the amplitude with a low output probability is large.
