Abstract:
A wipe which comprises: a nonwoven fabric impregnated with a cleaning composition; the nonwoven fabric having a basis weight of from about 70 to about 90 grams per square meter; a high basis weight area, and a low basis weight area, a weight ratio of the high basis weight area to the low basis weight area from about 1.5 to about 4.0, and a surface area ratio of the high basis weight area to the low basis weight area from about 0.65 to about 1.60; the high basis weight areas and the low basis weight areas being distributed along the surface of the non-woven fabric in a repeating pattern; the repeat lengths of the pattern being from 2 to 6 mm in the cross direction (CD) and from 2 to 6 mm in the machine direction (MD), and preferably 4 mm in both MD and CD directions.
Abstract:
Cleaning compositions of surfactant-based products containing one or more alkaline builders for the preparation of liquid cleaning compositions are discussed. The surfactant- based product may be any type of cleaning product based on surfactants. Methods of cleaning a household surface and of making cleaning compositions are also discussed.
Abstract:
The present invention is directed to cleaning compositions and cleaning systems comprising an anionic surfactant, a nonionic surfactant, lactic acid, hydrogen peroxide and water. In various embodiments, the compositions may further comprise an amphoteric or pseudo-cationic surfactant, an alcohol and a glycol ether solvent. The present invention is also directed to cleaning systems comprising the compositions in contained within a bottle having a nozzle and a spray pump dispenser, as well as methods for removing stain and/ or soil from a surface.
Abstract:
Antimicrobial microemulsions are described which are especially effective in disinfecting the surface being cleaned and in the removal of oily and greasy soil without leaving streaks. The compositions contain a mixture of at least one nonionic surfactant, a cationic surfactant, an anionic surfactant and a hydrocarbon ingredient, a water soluble solvent, and water.
Abstract:
An improvement is described in microemulsion compositions which are especially effective in disinfecting the surface being cleaned and in the removal of oily and greasy soil without leaving streaks which contains a mixture of nonionic surfactants, an anionic surfactant, an amphoteric surfactant, a disinfectant agent, a proton donating agent, a water soluble solvent, and water.
Abstract:
An acidic hard surface liquid detergent with desirable cleansing and antibacterial properties comprises a C8-18 anionic surfactant, nonionic surfactants, a cosurfactant, water insoluble hydrocarbon, essential oil or perfume, a hydroxy aliphatic acid and/or salicylic acid and water.
Abstract:
A liquid cleaning composition is described, which comprises approximately by weight: (a) 0.5% to 4% of a C9-C11 alkanol EO2-3 nonionic surfactant; (b) 2% to 7% of a C8-C18 alkanol EO7-8.5 nonionic surfactant; (c) 0.1% to 5% of a solubilizer selected from the group consisting of sodium xylene sulfonate and sodium cumene sulfonate and mixtures thereof; (d) 0.05% to 2% of a fatty acid; (e) 0.25% to 6% of magnesium inorganic salt; (f) 0.1% to 5 wt. % of an essential oil or a perfume; (g) 0.05% to 2.5% of an alkali metal salt of a polycarboxylic acid; (h) 0.05% to 5% of a C1-C4 alkanol; and (I) the balance being water, wherein the composition does not contain an amine having a pK value of more than 9, a furan-maleic anhydride copolymer sequestering agent or a water soluble detergency builder.
