    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for printing an image, for suppressing useless output by enabling to preferentially output new images when old images which are not required to be outputted and the new images which a user wants to output are all mixed up in a recording medium. SOLUTION: The image printing apparatus has a means for reading out image data in the detachable recording medium, a means for automatically printing all the images in the recording medium one by one, and a means for stopping automatic printing on the way.     Abstract: PURPOSE:To enhance reliability, by a method wherein ejection timing is varied in accordace with a driving voltage impressed on an ink jet head, while ejection timing of an ink jet head for recording in yellow is maintained to be constant irrespective of the driving voltage. The ROM previously measures an ejection speed varsus voltage, and codes corresponding to delay times determined according to the speed are written in the ROM. An output from the ROM50 is inputted to a selector 51 for selecting one of 4 timing pulses, and an ejecting pulse with ejection timing according to the voltage is outputted from the selector 51, and is inputted to a switching part 53. From the switching part 53, head-driving voltages obtained by D/A conver sion of the voltage data Vc, Vm by D/A converters 52 are outputted at the timing at which the ejecting pulse is turned ON.
