    Abstract: A writing instrument having a writing cartridge disposed in a housing or barrel. A scent emitting material is replaceably disposed on/or to the writing instrument to emit a pleasant smell or odor. In an example embodiment, the scent emitting material comprises a substrate such as a roll of paper disposed in the housing. A scented cartridge can also be disposed on/or to the writing instrument to emit a pleasant smell or odor. The scented cartridge and/or substrate are replaceable with other scented cartridges and substrates, thereby enabling a user to choose their desired scent.

    Abstract: A frame receives a portable media player. The frame includes connection elements to provide electrical connection between the portable media player and a vehicle media system, and a guide to align the portable media player with the connection elements. A case for a portable media player has an interior space configured to accommodate different configurations of portable media players, and an exterior configured to fit within a receptacle of a vehicle. A cup has an interior space configured to receive a portable media player and a coupler to provide electrical connection between the player and a media system. Sending a command to the portable device causing the portable device to enter a sleep state when the vehicle off, reducing a level of drain by the portable device from a power source of the vehicle. A portable media player may be controlled by the vehicle media system.

    Abstract: Various embodiments illustrated and described herein include one or more of systems, methods, software, and data structures for package file presentation. Some embodiments include receiving a package file including a presentation specification, one or more content files, and metadata defining display elements within the presentation specification and associating each display element with one of the content files. The package file may then be presented by instantiating the presentation specification as a function of executable code embedded within the presentation specification. Some embodiments further include instantiating each display element, each display element including a link to an associated content file within the package file and to generate and distribute display elements within a graphical user interface.
