Abstract: The present invention relates to a composition comprising: (a) about 10 wt.% to about 90 wt.% of an amorphous polymer, said amorphous polymer having a glass transition temperature of lower than about -20°C, and (b) about 10 wt.% to about 90 wt.% of a solvent, wherein the amounts of (a) and (b) are calculated on the total weight of the composition, and wherein the solvent is a terpene having a boiling point of about 130°C to about 270°C. The present invention also relates to a process for the application of a protective layer to a substrate, the process comprising application of a layer of the composition to the surface of the substrate or a part thereof. The present invention further relates to a container comprising the composition and a propellant.
