Abstract: A correlated forecast is computer generated by a processor that receives input data for historic values of a first input variable, creates forecast data for future values of the first input variable using the historic values of the first input variable, generates diagnostic data based on a diagnostic analysis of the forecast data, creates a first diagnostic variable that includes a first diagnostic value from a first cognitive process, generates a feature vector based on a second cognitive process that determines the feature vector by identifying a correlation between the first diagnostic variable and a second diagnostic variable, and generates a final forecast using the feature vector as an input for a cognitive forecasting process, where the first cognitive process determines the first diagnostic value based on the diagnostic data.

Abstract: Techniques for padding audiovisual clips (for example, audiovisual clips of sporting events) for the purpose of causing the clip to have a predetermined duration so that the padded clip can be evaluated for viewer interest by a machine learning (ML) algorithm (310) are provided. The unpadded clip is padded with audiovisual segment(s) that will cause the padded clip to have a level of viewer interest that it would have if the unpadded clip had been longer. The padded segments are synthetic images generated by a generative adversarial network such that the synthetic images would have the same level of viewer interest (as adjudged by an ML algorithm (310)) as if the unpadded clip had been shot to be longer.

Abstract: Aspects of the present invention disclose a method, computer program product, and system for identifying a robotic. The method includes receiving an authentication request for an unknown robotic device asserting to be a first robotic device. The method further includes receiving a first identification dataset for the first robotic device. The method further includes issuing an identification action to the unknown robotic device. The method further includes generating a second identification dataset for the unknown robotic device based upon a response to the identification action received from the unknown robotic device. The method further includes in response to determining the first identification dataset matches the second identification dataset, determining that the unknown robotic device is the first robotic device. The method further includes authenticating the unknown robotic device in response to determining that the unknown robotic device is the first robotic device.

Abstract: From a live streaming of a main content, an already streamed portion of the main content is analyzed to identify an occurrence of a climactic event in the main content. Based on the analysis, a set is constructed of feature values that are representative of the climactic event in the already streamed portion of the main content. A non-climactic period is forecasted during which a likelihood of an occurrence of any climactic event is below a threshold likelihood. A secondary content is inserted in the live streaming of the main content during the non-climactic period, such that a likelihood of the secondary content insertion interrupting the live streaming during a second climactic event is less than a second threshold of likelihood. The live streaming of the main content is continued after the secondary content is completely transmitted in the live streaming.

Abstract: The disclosure includes using dilation of speech content from an interlaced audio input for speech recognition. A learning model is initiated to determine dilation parameters for each of a plurality of audible sounds of speech content from a plurality of speakers received at a computer as an audio input. As part of the learning model, a change of each of a plurality of independent sounds is determined in response to an audio stimulus, the independent sounds being derived from the audio input. The disclosure applies the dilation parameters, respectively, based on the change of each of the independent sounds. A voice print is constructed for each of the speakers based on the independent sounds and the dilation parameters, respectively. Speech content is attributed to each of the plurality of speakers based at least in part on the voice print, respectively, and the independent sounds.

Abstract: Distributing computation workload among computing nodes of differing computing paradigms is provided. Compute gravity of each computing node in a cloud computing paradigm and each computing node in a client network computing paradigm within an Internet of Systems is calculated. Each component part of an algorithm is distributed to an appropriate computing node of the cloud computing paradigm and client network computing paradigm based on calculated compute gravity of each respective computing node within the Internet of Systems. Computation workload of each component part of the algorithm is distributed to a respective computing node of the cloud computing paradigm and the client network computing paradigm having a corresponding component part of the algorithm for processing.
