Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for performing an efficient recording action history in a virtual space, and to provide a reproducing method for performing a remembrance support. SOLUTION: The apparatus for recording the action of an avatar in the virtual space includes: a means for dividing the virtual space into a plurality of blocks to which inherent IDs are respectively assigned; a means for recording movement history including the ID of a block into which the avatar acting the virtual space enters and the time of entry; a means for deleting the movement history of a section held between the initial block and the final block of a straight line when a plurality of blocks into which the avatar enters are straightly continued in the same direction; and a means for recording the contents of an event, the movement history and the number of repeats as one action data: wherein, the recording means is a means for recording action data together with the number of repeats of action, and when action data having the same entrance block ID and the same event contents already exists, the action data is recorded by adding one to the number of repeats.
